Unused Brain Capacity
It’s pretty hard to tell what does bring happiness. Poverty and wealth have both failed. - Frank McKinney ‘Kin’ Hubbard
I’m often tickled by the intense debate that rages concerning just how underused our brain is. Some say we use about 1% others about 40% but the one thing that all research seems to show is that the brain is vastly under utilised.
If you look at what we’ve created with our under utilised brains, just think what we could be capable of if we started to fire up all those cells that lie dormant. There are trillions of potential neural pathways in there just waiting to be explored. That is what development is about, exploring your own unexplored continent and happiness derives from the fulfilment and satisfaction that comes from establishing colonies within that continent. The colonies, of course, are new thought processes, perceptions and ideas.
